Thought of the Day

Asatoma Sadgamaya, Tamasoma Jotirgamaya, Mrityoma Amritum Gamaya- Om Shanti Shanti Shanti

Vedic prayer says, Oh lord lead me from the unreal to the real, Lead me from the areas of my darkness to light. In everybody’s life there is areas of darkness ( Andhakara) also called ignorance. We have to bring the light of awareness to the areas of darkness in our life.

Lead me lord from Mritu and Amrita (the immortal). We are trained to see the visible and we are not trained to see the invisible. The visible is what to think is, something which is not visible we feel does not exits.

Vykta ; manifest, Avyakta : un-manifest.  We know the manifest like body, thoughts etc and we feel they are real. One thing we have to think here, the word visible is defined in the contract of some thing invisible. The word light gets defined only when there is darkness. Like that when there is death to this body there is something deathless in the body. The Avyakta has no death. The form has got death, the formless does not have death.

Krishna says the same thing to Arjuna, why should you be afraid of, there is some thing deathless in you.  We have to look our life superficially, we should look our life deeply.
